Well, it's been a week now since I got back from the great Desert Foxes shoot. 3 days in and around Death Valley near Pahrump NV.
11 Models and 4 photographers it was a whirlwind shoot to be sure!
Day 1 went ok just some chilly rain here and there... and some wind.
Then.. well it snowed... the 2nd days location got snow overnight and the next day... and the iconic Dry Lake Bed location...it became a very large mudhole.
So, on to the next location, in Badwater Basin, Death Valley... when we drove 50 miles to the turn off, the road was closed. CalTrans came by and said flooding that night and morning had washed out the road from either side of the park and it could be a week before it was reopened.
But they were very understanding and allowed us to shoot on the closed roadway behind the barriers, the rest of the morning and early afternoon.
So, we just free-formed and had a great time as well as got great shots.
I have almost finished processing the days of shooting, and will have a Gallery for the Great Desert Foxes Shoot available soon.
Check back, and as always... Thanks for looking!
